BART Police Warning stickers

I'm glad BART has decided to warn it's users of the inherent risks they take every time they ride the public rails system with these new stickers. BART police are there for our protection, because our taxes pay their salaries, so if they didn't actually kill people who could possibly be criminals, wouldn't they be wasting our hard earned money?

More Is Always on the Way

I had the pleasure of seeing Bryon Boyce's "More is Always Better" last night at Southern Exposure Art Gallery. It is part of a large group show entitled and themed around the word "Boom!" I was amazed by the double entendres he was able to create by being at the right place at the right time, with the right specific perspective to shoot these amazing signage portraits. I recognized a few of the shots, as signs I had also seen around San Francisco, but the way the Boyce presents them in context with other signs, create a social commentary that I would have never imagined.

Logorama the Movie

This is a short film that was directed by the French animation collective H5, François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy + Ludovic Houplain. It was presented at the Cannes Film Festival 2009. It opened the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and won a 2010 academy award under the category of animated short.

In this film there are two pieces of licensed music, in the beginning and in the end. All the other music and sound design are original. The opening track (Dean Martin "Good Morning Life") and closing track (The Ink Spots "I don't want to send the world on fire") songs are licensed pre-existing tracks. All original music and sound design is by, human (www.humanworldwide.com)
