This sign comes from the Toilets of World website. I guess something gets lost in the translation. In Arabic "Salah" has something to do with prayer or praying. I don't think that the sign is against praying in the john, but it is against putting your feet on the seat. After all, you wouldn't want to fall in and ruin your shoes.

Courtney FYI.
First of all the sign is from Indonesia. Salah means mistake...therefore it is wrong to squat on a toilet. Most of the country has squat toilets so a western toilet does present some problems.
Secondly, Arabic for prayer is Shalat.
