Sacramento Signs

Wow! I have to say I've never been in Sacramento, but I want to stop there, the next time I head that direction. This Flicker pool has 254 pictures of vintage neon signs in various states of decay.

SF Street Art from Fadedz

San Francisco is covered with beautiful street art, and until now I haven't really found an online album that does it justice. Thank You Fadedz for taking some fabulous pictures of what's on the walls right now, because it won't be there forever, and neither will the walls.

MLK BLVD

Martin Luther king Jr. Blvd, Ave, or Street:
Every city has one, and now there is a Flickr Pool that represents that.
Many of these photos are post-Katrina New Orleans pictures. What does this symbolize? I don't know....lots of different things to lots of different people.

In commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King, think about what you can do to help those in need, accross the world, or accross your street. We all need a helping hand sometimes.

Fab Fonts Found on Flicker

Here's two really great collections of pictures of signs, billboards, and Letters.

Pictures of Walls

The best part about using public transportation, is seeing which bus stop posters have been tagged since the last time I was there.
My favorite: Kill Phil.

I stumbled across a site that lets you upload and share your favorite pictures of Krylon philosophy, from all over the world.

no salah in the penggunaan closet

This sign comes from the Toilets of World website. I guess something gets lost in the translation. In Arabic "Salah" has something to do with prayer or praying. I don't think that the sign is against praying in the john, but it is against putting your feet on the seat. After all, you wouldn't want to fall in and ruin your shoes.

Louis Braille's Birthday!

It's your birthday! Go Louis! Go Louis! It's your birthday!
Just in case you're one of the 10 people in the world who doesn't use Google,
you might not have noticed the homage to Mr. Braille.

Go there Now

Don't take your sight for granted. We are all just a bicycle, car, welding, diving
etc. accident away from being plunged into darkness, and if you make it to old age
having seen everything, you still have Glaucoma to look forward to. I just wrote up
my Braille round-up a few days ago, and this morning I started building a page
on my site dedicated to Braille. Soon it should be complete, and accessible to
screen reader software for the blind.

These Norwegian bus stop posters encourage passersby to take photos of themselves in position, and then send the pictures to their friends.
